Alex Pavlenko, DDS
Edmonton, Alberta
Dr. Pavlenko has been practicing dentistry for over twenty years ever since he graduated from Poltava Dental Medical Stomatological Academy in Ukraine in 1984. In 1998, him, his wife Nataliya, and their two sons, Stanislav and Eddie, moved to Canada and opened a new page in their life. It took two and a half years for Dr. Pavlenko to go through University Coordinating Council of University of Alberta qualification program which granted him the Canadian Dental license. Different kinds of training and school experience helped him to better understand dentistry as a whole concept. Dr. Pavlenko's life philosophy is: "Treat others the way they like to be treated," which fully applies to his vision in dentistry. Dr. Pavlenko is an active participant at numerous dental meetings, courses, and seminars. Dr. Pavlenko and his team's lifelong commitment to continuing education allows them to provide you with the most recent techniques and treatments. In a busy life schedule, he tries to find time to play tennis, bike, ski, read books, and just simply spend time with his family.
Nataliya Pavlenko - Office Manager
Nataliya has been in her husband's dental practice since the early years. Her focus in the office is: office systems, policy, long-range planning, research and development, equipment acquisition and implementation. Nataliya balances her time between managing the dental practice and her family. Her hobbies are: tennis, skiing, biking, and traveling.
June Kotylak - Financial Treatment Coordinator
June graduated from the NAIT dental assisting program in 1983 and has been a part of the dental profession to date. As our financial treatment coordinator she is able to assist you with any concerns you may have regarding financing, treatment details, etc. June has a passion for the dental profession and quality of service that our team provides to each and every one of our guests to make their dental visit a truly enjoyable experience. Her hobbies include most outdoor activities; golf of course is #1, gardening, painting, spending time out of the city on the family farm and also spending quality time with family and friends.
Marg Schiewe - Hygienist and Treatment Coordinator
She graduated from dental hygiene program in 1990. She finds dental hygiene an exciting challenge in all areas, including treatment, education and assessment. Marg always looks forward to meeting new people and help them achieve optimal oral health. She has a wonderful husband, son, and daughter. Hobbies: craftsmanship, biking, ATV expedition with her family.
Lisa Dureault - Dental Assistant and Treatment Coordinator
Lisa has been happily assisting since graduating in 2001 from the NAIT dental assistants program. She enjoys the versatility that her career provides to her on a daily basis, from meeting new guests and helping them achieve the smiles that they are looking for; to helping long time guests maintain what they have achieved! She's here to answer any and all questions about your dental or insurance concerns and making your visit as comfortable as possible. In her spare time Lisa enjoys dancing, ringette, golfing and slow-pitch but most of all spending time with her family and friends.
Erin Berube - Dental Assistant and Treatment Coordinator
Since graduating from the dental assistants program at NAIT in 2003, Erin has been happily helping guests of all ages achieve their optimal oral health. She enjoys the challenges of continually educating herself in the many dental procedures that are offered at Sana Dental; from smile makeovers to treating and relieving pains and symptoms our jaw and muscles can create. Erin enjoys spending her free time golfing with her husband, playing volleyball and slo-pitch as well as cheering on our Edmonton Oilers!
Heather Owens - Dental Assistant and Treatment Coordinator
Heather graduated from the NAIT dental assisting program in 2009. She enjoys being able to provide the and most up to date treatment that is available to our guests and ensuring that everyone is happy through out their whole experience with our office. She will always put her guests first and is here to help with any concerns that you may have in regards to your dental health. Heather enjoys spending her spare time camping and snowboarding in the mountains with her husband as well as playing with her two dogs and spending time with her family and friends.
Jo-Ann Selman - Infection Control and Sterilization Assistant
Jo-Ann is a recent high school graduate from Sturgeon Composite High School. She is currently enjoying her employment with the Sana Dental team, ensuring a warm and comfortable environment for our guests. She looks forward to furthering her career in the dental assisting field and helping people achieve the smiles that everyone is looking for. Jo-Ann likes to spend her spare time playing active sports like rugby and soccer as well as spending time with her family and friends.
