Alex Pavlenko, DDS - Neuromuscular and Cosmetic Dentist

Dr. Pavlenko has been practicing dentistry for over twenty years ever since he graduated from Poltava Dental Medical Stomatological Academy in Ukraine in 1984. In 1998, him, his wife Nataliya, and their two sons, Stanislav and Eddie, moved to Canada and opened a new page in their life. It took two and a half years for Dr. Pavlenko to go through University Coordinating Council of University of Alberta qualification program which granted him the Canadian Dental license. Different kinds of training and school experience helped him to better understand dentistry as a whole concept. Dr. Pavlenko's life philosophy is: "Treat others the way they like to be treated," which fully applies to his vision in dentistry. Dr. Pavlenko is an active participant at numerous dental meetings, courses, and seminars. Dr. Pavlenko and his team's lifelong commitment to continuing education has taken them to the prestigious Las Vegas Institute of advanced dental studies, which allows them to provide you with the most recent techniques and best treatments. In a busy life schedule, he tries to find time to play tennis, bike, ski, read books, and just simply spend time with his family.
Nataliya Pavlenko - office manager Nataliya has been in her husband's dental practice since the early years. Her focus in the office is: office systems, policy, long-range planning, research and development, equipment acquisition and implementation. Nataliya balances her time between managing the dental practice and her family. Her hobbies are: tennis, skiing, biking, and traveling.
June Carruthers - financial and treatment coordinator: With over 20 years experience June enjoys personal interaction with our guests, meeting and helping them with all their questions and concerns. Her job is to help you maximize your insurance benefits and also to help you make the financing of your dental treatment comfortable. Hobbies: gardening, golfing, outdoor activities, spending time with family and friends.
Marg Schiewe - hygienist and treatment coordinator: She graduated from dental hygiene program in 1990. She finds dental hygiene an exciting challenge in all areas, including treatment, education and assessment. Marg always looks forward to meeting new people and help them achieve optimal oral health. She has a wonderful husband, son, and daughter. Hobbies: craftsmanship, biking, ATV expedition with her family.
Lisa Christie Dureault – dental assistant and treatment coordinator: Lisa graduated from NAIT in 2001 from the dental assisting program. She loves assisting as well as having the opportunity to meet new patients and helping them with their concerns. Her biggest reward is helping people smile and having them leaving their office happy. Her hobbies include spending time on the farm, snowboarding, anything to do with water, hockey and spending time with her family and friends.
